機電系於11月27日在工學大樓E312舉辦 國外教授來訪學術演講「Toward globalization- the cooperation and activities in Veltech」演講。邀請印度Vel Tech大學國際長/資工系副教授S. Sivaperumal進行學術演講活動。此教授經歷如下：Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication Engineering at Vel Tech (Affiliated to Anna University, Chennai) Master of Engineering in VLSI Design at Vel Tech (Affiliated to Anna University, Chennai).

Doctoral Degree from Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr.Sagunthala R & D Institute of Science and Technology. Dr. Sivaperumal has been with Vel Tech since 2005 and has experience about the activities connected to Industry Relations and students skill developments. He has published 15 research papers and completed 3 projects worth INR 214 Lakh. He is the member of Institution of Engineers (India), ISTE & ISCA and has experience in organizing 4 international conferences with Galaxy of International Speakers across the globe along with funding support of Government Ministeries, Associations and Private Organizations.
