本活動旨在提供英文學系大一學生與系主任以及系上助理助教面對面交流的機會，透過輕鬆且開放的座談形式，增進學生對系上事務及學習資源的了解。學生可藉由此次交流機會，提出這一年來在課業學習、校園生活及生涯規劃等方面所遇到的問題與想法，並與系主任進行意見交換。透過雙向溝通，學生能更深入了解系上所提供的各項資源與發展機會，例如大三出國計畫及各種學習資源等。希望藉由第二學期的主任座談活動，提升學生對系所的認同感與歸屬感，透過開放的交流與討論，幫助學生更快適應即將到來的大二生活以及即將面對的大三出國申請。

This event provides first-year students in the Department of English with an opportunity to meet and communicate with the Department Chair and assistants. Through an open discussion, students can share their experiences and concerns regarding academic studies, campus life, and future planning. The event also helps students learn more about departmental resources and opportunities, such as the junior-year study abroad program and academic support services. It is expected to strengthen students' sense of belonging and better prepare them for their sophomore year and future study abroad applications.
